Debi Vandenboom (She/her)

Rev. Debi VanDenBoom has been working as a licensed mental health professional since 2022.  Debi graduated from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary with a master’s degree in Pastoral Care & Counseling. Debi provides empathy-based counseling that has its roots in self-psychology. Debi believes her role is to journey with individuals in their holistic healing while addressing their physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social-relational needs and understandings.

Debi believes that engaging and exploring the wisdom gained through lived experience enables a person to cultivate their strengths and discover skills to use in the healing process. Debi specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma especially domestic and sexual violence, religious trauma, and those who are doing grief work.
